A little background, my mom is very into health and wellness. I grew up eating lots of fruits and veggies. Not a lot of fried stuff or sweet tea in our house. So I do know what healthy is, I just choose not to do it.
Mr. Boss(my husband) was raised with good old southern food. Breakfasts over there always include bacon and fried potatoes. My in laws introduced me to chocolate gravy and I will forever be thankful because it is awesome! Despite that, Boss was very athletic and also knows what healthy is, but old habits die hard.
Then we have the Princess (6). She loves several fruits and veggies, but also McDonalds. She would eat there every day if she could.
And last but not least we have Monkey (1). He will eat almost everything. He's the only one. In fact, you would be hard pressed to find a pickier family. I would love to say it's them, but it's me too. So meals are challenging, and healthy meals on a budget, even more so. So check in with me as we get healthier one step at a time.
